Design for Sustainability - Ecodesign 2024/25

The aim of the course is to provide insight into environmental issues and the sustainability of natural resources related to product development and lifecycle. Through project-based assignments, students will master methods for identifying and analyzing environmental and non-renewable resource-related problems caused by decisions in the development process. Students will acquire knowledge of methods and tools for design based on product lifecycle and sustainability criteria, and they will be introduced to socio-technical aspects and strategies for implementing environmental improvements related to products and their use.
